In February 2008 we spun-off 99designs.com, which is now the leading crowdsourced marketplace for graphic design.
99designs allows anyone to host a design contest to get a logo, website, stationary, t-shirts, banners, business cards, etc. designed without the risk of hiring a traditional freelancers or agency. A new design is uploaded to the site every 10 seconds, and over $100K per week is paid out to designers who participate in our marketplace. 99designs has been profiled on Good Morning America, NY Times, CBS and numerous other media outlets.
In June 2009, we spun-off Flippa.com. Flippa is a marketplace for buying and selling websites via an auction format. Over $1 million in websites trades hands each month.
While part of SitePoint, our Marketplace was featured in the NY TIMES, Seattle Post, OC Register, Boston Globe, CNN Money, Business 2.0 Magazine, Fast Company, CBS and numerous other media outlets such as TechCrunch and CenterNetworks.
