    I spend 4 hours per week at this local youth shelter. Cyrus Centre is the starting point for youth to exit the streets. Providing meals, shelter, clothing, advocacy, referrals, showers, laundry, life skills, employment coaching and freedom from sexual exploitation.
    
    Some of my roles include floor sweeper, dinner maker, dinner server, bouncer, bodyguard, shoulder to cry on, ear to listen, guitar teacher, foosball, crib or chess opponent etc.

Hiking (did 50 hikes in 2012); golfing (got a hole in one on October 7, 2012 at Pagoda Ridge on #8 - woohoo!!); reading (read 28 books in 2012 for a total of 9,131 pages); gardening - mainly tomatoes and raspberries; my cat, Marco. I also manage to multi-task while reading and spending time with Marco by watching hockey, football and golf on TV.
