The Office of the Slovak Prime Minister and Cabinet

In this government environment I worked in the team of lawyers and administrators who were responsible for unifying Slovak law system with the law system of the European Union and applying standards within the law system (working mainly with Czech and Slovak law documents and bills and their comparison with adequate European Union law document. The searching had been done through ASPI (Automated System of Law Information)).
Our department also prepared all the written material used for weekly meetings of Prime Minister cabinet. Also, I was responsible for preparing budget and equipment requirements for technical support used during the transition period. To achieve that, I was working as a bridge between lawyers and the IT professionals.

1993 – 1994 (1 year)
Here I was responsible for delivering a comparative analysis of several fire safety systems, writing manuals and training materials for employees of the company. Monthly reports about the progress were generated and included to the company's document management system. I used here my analytic expertise and learned about the company's document management system.

Working among scientists I helped them to retrieve all the relevant information about all fields of science. I worked with local bibliographic indexing system, able to search documents across multiple institutions. I maintained new and existing documents during their life cycle, properly indexed them and make them available for broad spectrum of library clients. The library had an access to many licensed international databases maintaining science periodicals, books and other documents in their physical and electronic form.

data management and applying bibliographical standards, indexing techniques (mostly full text indexing and searching), searching through multiple options, including ISBN and ISSN codes, retrieving all relevant information from different licensed international databases (Current Contents Connect, Web Knowledge, etc.), searching through international science periodicals according to clients requirements.
