Cultural worker committed to human rights values of respect, dignity and sanctity of life
Vancouver, Canada Area
My work is at the intersection of human rights and education. I've fought for worker and other economic human rights, quality child care, educational access for low-income children and for economic justice in some of North America's poorest communities.
My experience ranges from public television production to organizing street-level protests against poverty. I have taught preschool-aged to grade 12 students, organized poverty-wage stadium cleaners and owned and operated a children's book and toy store. I have extensive experience as a labour and human rights organizer.
