I started building websites over ten years ago when the web was young and went onto launch the eBusiness capabilities of both Glaxo Wellcome U.S. and Canada. It was during this time that I developed my interest and background in collaboration, KM, IM, and related Internet technologies. This interest and passion for helping people work better together online is what keeps View from the Isle churning day after day.

I was the first professional blogger for Inside Blogging and a founding member of the Professional Bloggers Association. As one of Canada's leading tech and WordPress bloggers I have the insight to help with projects large and small.

I have a great deal of classroom experience teaching groups of various skill levels. I teach social media, WordPress, podcasting, and blogging.

My first book, Create Your Own Blog, comes out January 2010 and my second book Using WordPress mid-2010 (tentatively).
