Medical Doctor, Media Wellness Expert, Author, Speaker, Coach & Flamenco Dancer
Vancouver, Canada Area
My passion is helping you to discover yourself, create vibrant health, and live a life you love.
I used to be a depressed, frustrated doctor, until I took a hiatus to follow my dreams as a flamenco dancer in Los Cabos, Mexico. It was tough at first, but I didn't give up and eventually ended up performing for celebrities, the owners of major sports teams such as the Dallas Cowboys and the Lakers, and other high profile clients. My husband and I even taught Pink how to salsa!
It's been quite the ride, and the miraculous experiences, joy, and wonderful health that I discovered now fuel my work as a media wellness expert, author, life coach and educational/inspirational/motivational speaker.
I'm currently based in Vancouver, Canada and travel internationally to speak and dance. My keynotes and seminars/workshops teach you how to create a happier, healthier, more fulfilling life on many different levels, and I combine dance performances and workshops with my speaking.
My upcoming book, "Live a Life You Love: 7 Steps to a Healthier, Happier, More Passionate You", will be released in March 2010 by Beaufort Books(NYC)
I love educating the public about health, life and happiness through media across North America. I blog for PsychologyToday.com and have appeared on Fox News, MSNBC, Global TV, CityTV, CTV and The Good Life Network, and in magazines such as Self, Fitness, First fo Women, Hello!, Chatelaine, Today's Parent, the Medical Post, etc. I write two columns for Canadian national magazines, and am an expert for HealthyCanada.com and a "health maven" for Wellsphere.com.
In addition to maximizing exposure for my upcoming book, I'd like to increase my work with media across North America, syndicate a column on life and wellness, and increase my speaking engagements internationally. I'm fluent in Spanish, though I don't actually have a drop of Latin or Spanish blood!
I look forward to connecting with you!

I have been performing flamenco professionally since 2004. For the last few years I performed my solo show in the resort of Los Cabos, Mexico, where I performed in private events at exclusive resorts (such as Rosewood's Las Ventanas and One & Only Palmilla) and private villas. I have performed for thousands of people over the years, audience members/clients included celebrities such as Sean Penn, the owners of the LA Lakers and the Dallas Cowboys, the owners of Mary Kay Cosmetics, etc. For 2009 I have returned to performing "up north", performing for corporate events and as part of my speaking engagements, also currently working on a project with the Grammy-winning Vancouver Symphony Orchestra.
