A Toronto-based interactive art director with a decade of experience developing engaging new media.
Over the years, I have had the privilege to partner with many non-profit and corporate brands including WorldVision, Canadian Ape Alliance, Frontier College, IBM, Bell Canada, DHL, American Express, Olivieri, Cogeco, Timex, J.M. Smucker’s, Kraft and Cisco; as well as several major advertising agencies including Ogilvy and Cossette. Going forward, my aim is to work with organizations whose mission is to help shape an ethical sustainable future for the world.

RiverSides is a non-profit organization dedicated to creating RiverSafe communities. RiverSides protects rivers by reducing runoff pollution from individual properties through education and providing the tools people need to make the connection between personal action and healthy rivers. Over the past two years I have worked closely with RiverSides on various successful initiatives and have recently joined a Communication and Marketing volunteer work group to further the message of healthy watersheds.

Tutoring kids in an after-school program where tutors offer homework and reading support to a group of students on a regular basis. Homework clubs benefit students of all ages; ranging from young children in elementary school to teenagers in high school.

Canadian Ape Alliance is a non-profit organization dedicated to developing conservation strategies for great apes. The Canadian Ape Alliance was established by Dr. Kerry Bowman and his colleagues to coordinate and increase efforts in raising awareness of the imminent threats to the great apes, develop conservation strategies, and raise funds. I have been providing the Canadian Ape Alliance with traditional and interactive marketing services on a volunteer basis.

Working mostly on Bell Canada, conceptualized, designed and provided extensive development expertise on a multitude of interactive campaigns. Overlooked creation and upkeep of interactive brand guidelines and provided creative input in the ideation of a new brand identity for Bell. Efficiently worked with motion, 3D, development and illustration vendors to produce successful interactive work aligned with a 360º brand strategy. In addition, produced various engaging interactive work for GM, WorldVision, Coca-Cola, General Mills, GlaxoSmithKline, McDonald’s and Shoppers Drug Mart.

Worked on a multitude of interactive projects on a part-time, full time and freelance basis. Promoted from a junior copywriting position to production and architecture, and eventually an interactive art director. Often acted as a manager of the development and production teams. Successfully coordinated the marketing messages, Overture and Google AdWords campaigns, managed artwork, as well as production, and acted as the creative and production teams’ liaison with project managers and clients.

Set a consistent architecture standard, designed the site and accompaying user interface experiences based on the target audience, created versatile HTML templates to be used in compliance with the Stellent Content Management System, and collaborated with various levels of management to meet all technical and business deadlines.

Used my technical knowledge and interactive experience to develop a user-friendly interface for the department documentation database.
