Murray Brown is a software architect specializing in the design of secure software solutions for web-based service oriented applications. With a strong software engineering background in distributed systems, electronic commerce, secure messaging, public key infrastructures and information assurance, he brings a unique application-oriented systems design perspective to building secure, trustworthy information systems.
I am presently looking for a senior software engineering leadership position as director or manager with hands-on architecture and design responsibility. My preference is for consulting or contracting engagements on a mid- to long-term basis yet, given the right opportunities for challenge and personal growth, more permanent positions will also be considered. I am looking for opportunities to leverage my extensive development experience beyond my recent focus on information security to projects with other software engineering challenges.
