My designer DNA allows me to see the world in hex codes, golden ratios and photographic snapshots. I am a jack of all trades and master of many; AND! I’m friendly, motivated and really nice! I strive to one day become the creative director of my own studio.

When not designing or photographing rare birds, I'm cycling and raising money for cancer research. I have two Rides to Conquer Cancer under my belt and have helped raise over $100,000 for Cancer research.

As a designer for Shaw Media, I have art directed and designed several key projects including ETCanada's refresh and redesign, GlobalTV's official Royal Wedding website, the 2011 Elections home pages and the Slice.ca blog section. I implemented the use of infographics for use in complimenting GlobalNews feature stories such as 911 and the Japan Tsunami; unseen on other news websites. I have worked with and created designs for Bomb Girls, Bon Jovi, HGTV, Scotties, GlobalTV, Scotts, FoodNetwork Canada, Open Kitchen, Michael Smith, ET Canada, Slice, Showcase, Sarah Richardson, Whirlpool, BC Tourism, Brookside Chocolates, GlobalTV Companion App, Canadian Tire, Kitchenaid, TD Canada Trust, Campino, and many more.

When not designing, I am on location with Food Network and HGTV online hosts, photographing chefs, restaurants, penthouse suites, fashion week; and, assisting management with photography related projects. Web/Print/Graphic Designer/Developer/Webmaster/Photographer/Videographer/Animator for this growing company. As the most experienced designer on the team, I envisioned and created several sub-brand identities while maintaining and improving the mytrak brand.

When not designing or developing, I proactively engaged in photography and animation with after effects. I storyboarded, produced, filmed, animated and edited a three minute commercial advertisement which has been widely successful and was quoted as "the best piece of marketing to come out of mytrak" by the CEO.

In my spare time, I researched marketing strategies while reinforcing modern design trends and setting compliant web standards in stone.

    Team Members: Robert Bava

    Art directed and designed the new assets for Canada's most popular entertainment television show. Phase one of the project includes a refresh of the homepage, along with a brand new design for the latest news section. Phase 2 will incorporate an entire site wide redesign and will come in the next few months.
