The people I work with may be just at the beginning of their journey towards better emotional helath, or those who are already doing pretty well and just need a little bit of "tweaking".
Some of the issues I assist people with are difficulties with addictions, depression, eating disorders such as anorexia and obesity, or chronic pain. I assist with anger management, career issues, life transitions, and help those who are survivors of sexual abuse, family violence, or the mental health system.
As a writer, you can find me writing anything from business articles to social commentary, from poetry to assisting artists in crafting biographies and artists' statements. I am also an avid blogger and blog regularly at two sites (below).
Simply put, I help people get a better life. My tools are friendly conversations, frequent success-checks and listening, listening, listening. I mostly work with mature singles, as well as people who do not always see themselves as part of the "mainstream".
