Michael Tighe’s Summary

Michael Tighe is an web designer and developer based out of Calgary, Alberta. He has been on (and interested in) the internet since 1994 either browsing/learning, or trying, failing, trying something new and succeeding.

Michael is currently pursing his own ventures as a consultant doing production work for companies and other agencies. In addition Michael is working on some start up web applications with a focus the transportation sector.

With Calgary Agency Rare Method Michael's responsibilities were a welcomed change of pace, including SEO and SEM strategy, execution, and management for a multitude of projects. Michael is also working to educate the company on Search Engine best practices, and more recently on widgets and social gadgets.

Coming from Critical Mass Michael worked on a variety of projects ranging from Mercedes-Benz, Rolex, Dell, Big Rock, and Calgary Economic Development. Unofficially dubbed the SEO expert at CM, Michael moved between roles in web development, search engine optimization, social media strategy/execution and thinking up new and interesting ideas which leverage social web applications (Facebook, Google Gadgets, Widgets, etc...)
