Implementation of Knowledge Management Strategies
Toronto, Canada Area
Broadly speaking, I seek a Knowledge Management consultancy role, with a home base in Toronto. My MSc thesis project ignited my imagination of the possibilities of being able to deeply integrate and traverse people's intellectual capital: my consulting career at Andersen taught me practical rigour and deep skills to implement enterprise application integration solutions; and my MBA broadened my understanding to allow me to garner a holistic view of what strategy means and taught me how organisational culture can be used to harness innate entrepreneurial spirit that otherwise gets increasingly dampened as companies grow. I am confident that I can bring these together to generate insight and competitive advantage in the KM space.
I'm open to a range of roles, but a primary objective is to develop a better understanding of the KM vendor space, the niches that the vendors occupy, and the value drivers that make them competitive.

I was a long-standing contributor to TWiki, noted in 2009 as a leading Enterprise 2.0 tool. For 7.5 years I authored over 1000 articles on this open source project, topics covered initiatives such as re-factoring the front-end, implementing REST interface, and metrics to collect and distribute the quality of code contributions. Key innovations included two way synchronization of pages, and a mechanism to reconcile and roll-forward code changes missing from source control.
I also implemented TWiki in my role as Manager at Arthur Andersen.
