Marlene Hielema’s Summary

My goals are:
- to continue to teach on a contract basis
- to continue freelance photography work for artists, designers and corporate clients
- to continue blogging on photography and related topics
- to continue building my online business which includes selling photography

I enjoy being self employed, I am self-motivated and independent.

Experience:
I have worked in traditional and digital photography since the late 80's and the output of digital files since 1993.

Since 1995 I have been freelancing as a photographer, and digital output specialist in both in Toronto and Calgary.

I now spend my time engaged in many types of contract work including corporate photography; part time teaching at the post secondary level; digital output; developing and delivering corporate seminars on photography; blog development; and taking the occasional family or sports portrait. I also photograph artist's portfolios, both 2D and 3D artwork. My main web site, imagemaven.com, has more detail about the work I do.
