Kent Speakman is a film maker as well as award-winning online strategist, social media consultant, blogger, and speaker.

I started working as an AP on a comedy series for Canadian series called "How Bout Not'. From there I had the chance to work on and off as a consultant for a couple of Independent films such as "Halo" and "Boxing with God". I had the opportunity to be both behind and in front of the camera. I ended up co-hosting an entertainment segment for “Eye on Entertainment” as well as some other local television spots.
In 2002 I began a partnership and produced a self help video series which I distributed across Canada and the USA. I oversaw and managed the online marketing initiatives also.
My network of contacts in the indusrtry in production, distribution and marketing of projects allows me to add value and help people in a wide range of ways.
Recent projects include "The Service", "The Collective" and a slate of projects in the Sci-Fi, Horror, Animation and Education genre's are all in different stages of development with my company playing roles of both Executive Producer and Marketing Strategist.

Project Smile is a not for profit organization that is fully managed and supported by Suitcase Interactive Staff, Clients, friends and partners. Each November, the entire Suitcase staff travels to Mexico to help build feeding centers and bring supplies to the less fortunate children in Mexico.

I spent almost 7 years in upper management with PLE, one of Canada’s largest restaurant, hospitality and nightlife companies fulfilling roles in operations, public relations, marketing, corporate sponsorship, concerts and special events sales, promotion and management.
I managed 2 Cowboys Locations, Ceilis Irish Pub, Tantra, Coyotes and the Drink while I was with the organization. I helped to develop and implement training programs at most of the locations I managed as well as directly hired, managed and scheduled staff forces ranging from 50 – 500 plus employees including the service staff durring the Calgary Stampede.

I was involved in creating or repositioning many or all aspects of these brands on premise campaigns within the partnerships I set up and maintained - including marketing collateral, corporate and internal communications, mission statements and developing ad campaigns for television, radio and print. I also orchestrated a series of successful strategic partnerships throughout Canada and the USA.
