I have written operations and training manuals, training programs, user guides, online courses (academic K-12). Have edited novels, user guides, academic papers (post-graduate), website content, etc. I have a degree in English & Philosophy, and one in Communications Design. I have had my own editing & design company for over 20 years. I have recently retired from a 15 year teaching position that included online teaching and mentoring. For 8 years I have worked with "Ask Dr.C", mentoring faculty and students internationally with their use of WebCT/Blackboard learning systems.

Ask Dr.C is an online, forum-based question-and-answer service moderated by a dedicated, international group of eLearning experts, all Blackboard clients. One of the original group of "Dr. Cs", I assisted faculty, course designers, and students in their use of the WebCT and Blackboard system and tools. During my 9 years as forum moderator, I became an internationally respected contributor and posted 6300 replies in WebCT's & Blackboard's user forums.

Design, create, and teach online secondary graduation courses to Adult learners. Mentor colleagues in the use of WebCT/Blackboard course management system, as well as creating courses for myself and other staff. Assist and tutor academic upgrading in the local learning centre. Was seconded for 5 years to set up and run a satellite academic and upgrading learning lab for members of a local electrical union. Worked with and taught at-risk youth for 3 years.
