Karl Martin

I am an innovator and entrepreneur, developing novel solutions to high-tech problems. I hold a Ph.D. degree in electrical and computer engineering from the University of Toronto, where I was also formerly an instructor. I speak internationally and serve as an expert witness on a variety of topics, including biometrics, video surveillance, privacy, and data security. My work has been featured in various media outlets, including the Toronto Star, CBC, Security Matters Magazine, Canadian Security Magazine, ITBusiness.ca and YongeStreetMedia.ca. I am an active volunteer in the IEEE and am the chair of the IEEE Toronto Signals and Applications Joint Chapter.
