James manages strategic planning for organizations, including development of implementation strategies, clarification of objectives, coordination of professional services teams, and achieving acceptance and implementation of plans.

James presents on a variety of topics at local events, conferences and courses providing his unique viewpoint. He has been quoted and contributed to media sources including the Washington Post, Chicago Tribune, National Post, 24 Hour News, Business in Vancouver.

Recently completed the Quick Start CMA BC Program working his way towards the designation and is a contributing member of Toastmasters International working towards the distinguished speaker award. James frequently contributes to the community and has volunteered with New Ventures BC (2009), and was a mentor with the Vancouver Board of Trade Leaders of Tomorrow Program (2009).

Personally, he is an enthusiast of stand-up comedy, hockey, golf, playing guitar, and a proud supporter of the Canadian Red Cross.
