Increased production output and reduced operating costs by 15% of a China clay mining operation. This was achieved by optimising maintenance delivery, engineering work planning and reduced production bottlenecks.
Developed a business case for a resin manufacturing business that enabled the owner to sell the organisation for 10% more than the original value due to potential increased business performance by focusing on improving the product portfolio, sales strategy, research process, production process, maintenance approach and working capital management.
Increased production by 10% of a large exploration & production facility in the Middle East by decreasing the level of breakdown maintenance, increasing the corrective and preventive maintenance, implementing an effective well management program and debottlenecking the processing plant.

Selected Accomplishments
•Responsible for leading the engineering team that successfully developing and commissioning a first of its kind helicopter geophysical airborne electromagnetic surveying system.
•Upgraded and operated fixed-wing aircraft electro-magnetic surveying system that was the most advanced system of its kind in the world at that time and subsequently discovered multiple mineral deposits worth billions of dollars.
•Participated in the successful commercialisation of the Africa office of Quadrem, the mining B-to-B e-commerce organisation, through the development of organisational processes and business service opportunities. Quadrem is still successful today and has gained a wide customer base.
•Received the president’s award for outstanding service on numerous occasions.
