I teach businesses how to comply with their human rights law obligations and avoid costly liabilites.
I'm a lawyer who has extensive knowledge and experience in the area of human rights law and the investigation and mediation of human rights complaints, having acted as both counsel to the Manitoba Human Rights Commission and its Board of Commissioners and as the Commission's Manager of Investigation & Mediation. I'm a litigator by training so I have excellent fact-gathering skills, experience interviewing witnesses and a unique understanding of the role of evidence, discovery and other issues related to litigation from both an employer and human rights commission perspective.
I have developed and delivered presentations and seminars on a wide range of human rights and investigation-related topics to management and non-management employees in both the private and public sectors.
