Tec-Masters, INC.
(Public Company; 501-1000 employees; Government Relations industry)
March 2004 — December 2004 (10 months)
I was contracted remotely, and for the most part working independently, to conceive and implement through ActionScript a highly flexible and dynamic generation environment to greatly speed up the production of web-based training content, while still keeping the novice as well as the experienced Flash user in view. The new system includes support for internal and external images, video, audio, illustrations, text, and quizzes (that recall specific portions of the dynamic content for playback when answers are invalid). The result of the scripts developed was that it now takes only one (1) person for every three (3) that were used prior to the new script implementations, and that one(1) person now works twice(2x) faster, using a simple object-based approach. This contract was fulfilled working remotely from home with the occasional flight required for project group meetings. Work requests continue on an as-needed basis.
